Minnesota "Deer Day"
Deer Day is on August 11th from 9:30-3:30. It will be held on the Wilkens farm near Mora. Minnesota Youth Deer Hunts
Minnesota youth can register/apply for 18 different mentored hunts. The deadline for applying is August 16th. To register or learn where and when these hunts occur, visit http://www.mndnr.gov/buyalicense.Walk-In Access Program adds options for Deer Hunters
Hunters options through the Walk-In Access program have increased by about 6000 acres to over 20,000 acres. To access the properties, hunters in the Fall must add a $3 Walk-In Access validation. Maps of sites will be available come mid-August at www.mndnr.gov/walkin .
